Born Pretty Stamping Plates Review

I was sent six stamping plates from the Born Pretty Store to review. I have really been getting back into stamping recently. I've tried to do as many different stamping techniques as I could think of, I've done plan stamping, gradient stamping, stamping over a gradient, lead lighting and reverse stamping. I was also sent a black stamping polish from the Born Pretty Store, however when I went to use it the polish was not opaque enough to use for stamping, so I didn't end up using it at all.

First plate is BP-41. I stamped using "Snow" by Celestial Cosmetics over a pink and purple gradient using "Fairy Floss" and "Wisteria" by Picture Polish.  This plate stamped beautifully!

The next stamping plate is BP-04. I used "Tail Feather" by Picture Polish then stamped over the top with "Denim" by Celestial Cosmetics. Another stamping plate that I had no problems with.

Next up is some lead lighting using plate BP-43. I used "Baby's Got The Blues" by Miss Ashleigh then I stamped with "Pitch" by Celestial Cosmetics. I then went in and filled the star shapes with "Cello Yellow" "Seeing Red" "Peek-A-Boo Purple" and "Marine Blue" which are the Ulta3 water colour polishes.  They weren't the best to use for lead lighting because the colours were very sheer, but I tried.

Next up is plate BP-10. I love the design on this plate, but I found that I had to use my metal scraper and harder Konad stamper to pick up the image. I used my favourite red, "Fading Tapestry" by Powder Perfect as my base then stamped over the top using "Pitch" by Celestial Cosmetics.

I used stamping plate BP-31. For this design I used the advanced reverse stamping technique. I used "Tone It Up" "Emerald Inten-city" "Bright Me" "Block It Out" and "Palette Play" all by Ulta3.

Last is a stamped gradient using plate BP-05. I used "Satin Cloud" by Mud as my base then stamped with "Meet Minty" by Mud and "Leaf" by Celestial Cosmetics.

My favourite thing about these stamping plates, besides the beautiful images, is that they are the perfect size to fit into my Bundle Monster stamping plate folder. Many of my other stamping plates, like the ones from Emily de Molly and MoYou London are too big to fit into the slots of the folder.
